Privacy Policy

OurNest ("the app") is developed by Pop Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. OurNest is built to be private: what you add is shared only with the partner you invite.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider) and the display name you choose.
• Couple space information: couple name, couple photo, relationship start date and an invite code.
• Content you create: memories (titles, descriptions, dates, place names you type, photos and videos), important dates, and journal entries (title, text, mood, date, photo).
• Technical identifiers: an internal user ID used to link your account to your content.

We do not collect your GPS location, contacts, health or financial data, browsing history or advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

2. How we use information

Only to provide the app's features: signing you in, creating and syncing your couple space, storing and displaying your content to you and your partner. Reminders for important dates are scheduled as local notifications on your device. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps and websites.

3. Who can see your content

• Memories, important dates, couple details and shared journal entries are visible only to the two members of your couple space.
• Private journal entries and their photos are visible only to you.
• Access rules are enforced on our servers, not only in the app.

4. Service providers

We use Supabase to host our database, authentication and file storage. Supabase processes data on our behalf and may not use it for its own purposes. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and media files are stored in a private storage bucket accessible only through short-lived signed links.

5. Data retention and deletion

• Your data is kept while your account exists.
• Delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, profile and journal entries. If your partner is still in the couple space, shared memories and dates remain with them; if you are the last member, the entire couple space including all photos and videos is deleted.
• Leaving a couple space: Profile → Leave couple. If you are the last member, the space and all its content are deleted.
• You can also request deletion by emailing us. Backups held by our provider are overwritten within their standard retention period.

6. Your rights

You can access and edit your information in the app at any time. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to request access to, correction, export or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at the email below and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Children

OurNest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, server-side access control and private storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Significant changes will be communicated in the app.
