Delete your data — OurNest

OurNest: Couple Memories, by Pop Studio

You can delete some or all of your OurNest data at any time, either in the app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Delete some data, keep your account

Do this in the app. Items are removed right away from our database, and their photos and videos are removed from storage.

• A memory: open it in Memories → trash icon. Deletes the memory with its photos and video, for both partners.
• A single photo or video of a memory: open the memory → edit (pencil) → tap ✕ on the photo or video → Save.
• A journal entry: open one of your entries in Journal → delete. Deletes the entry and its photo. You can only delete entries you wrote.
• An important date: open it in Dates → delete. Deletes the date and its photo, for both partners.
• Your shared space: Profile → Leave couple. Your partner keeps the shared memories and dates. If you are the last member, the whole space and all its photos and videos are deleted.

2. Delete your account and all your data

In the app: Profile → Delete account, type DELETE and confirm (also available before you join a couple space).

• Deleted: your account (email, password), profile (display name, photo, birthday), all your journal entries and their photos, your private files.
• If you are the last member of your couple space: the whole space is deleted too — memories, important dates, photos and videos.
• Kept for your partner: if your partner is still in the space, the memories and dates you created stay with them (no longer linked to your account), because they are part of their space too. You can delete them yourself before deleting your account (section 1).

3. Request deletion by email

If you can't use the app, email popvn.studio@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "OurNest data deletion request". Tell us whether you want specific items or your whole account deleted. We confirm and complete the request within 30 days.

Retention

• Deleted data is removed from our live database and storage immediately.
• Copies may remain in our hosting provider's (Supabase) encrypted backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
• We don't keep any other copies, and we don't use deleted data for anything.
